I would describe myself as an energetic, fun loving guy, who loves an adventure and traveling. I have always been very social, and love making people happy. Part of what I love about traveling so much is the ability to meet people from all walks of life and different cultures. Growing up in a conservative farm town in rural Canada my world was very small at one point. But by meeting so many wonderful people who think and see the world differently than I do, I have been able to expand my mind and learn so much about myself and others.
I always knew I was gay, so growing up in a small Mormon town definitely had it's challenges. But it really taught me to be accepting, and not judge people. I look at where I came from and my old self wouldn't even recognize the person I am today. No two people have the same experiences and most people are just trying to do their best with the knowledge they have.
I believe the secret to happiness is honesty and communication; both with others, and with ourselves. That voice deep inside us that knows what we should be doing is often silenced or pushed aside for a variety of reasons. Being honest with yourself and recognizing and listening to that voice is the only way to actually achieve that happiness and balance we all seek. Until you know what you need, you can't look for it and ask for it from others.
I love to travel and work with people from across the globe. I am an ICF (International Coaching Federation) trained Coach, and provide coaching via phone to anyone looking for improve their life. Reach out today to see the difference having a coach can make for you.
As someone who was never content to just settle, whether it was with jobs or boyfriends, I always tried to learn from each experience to not make the same mistakes. And while I got better, I still felt like I was in the same loop. It wasn't until losing my job that I really stopped to think about what I wanted in life. I have always enjoyed being around and helping others, most of my jobs revolved around sales and public affairs. But I was looking at the what I liked rather than the why. Self discovery is an amazing journey that only gets better the more we learn about ourselves.
I am constantly changing, and discovering new, and old, things about myself and what makes me happy. Life is unpredictable and you can't plan for everything, but by understanding who you are and who you want to be, you have a much clearer path of how to get there, regardless of what life throws at you. Having outside sources to motivate and encourage you is important, while also bringing new perspectives and ideas to help break you out of your set way of thinking. I look back along my life at who I was, and I know I wouldn't be where I am today without people helping me see outside of myself and challenging me to grow.
I want to help you change the things you know about, but also uncover things you have yet to discover about yourself. I never want to dictate to others how they should live or what they should do. Who better to decide what makes you happy than you? Let me help you discover truths about yourself that will motivate, and help you start to actively make choices that bring you closer to your happy place.
